Moleskin Project IV @ Spoke Art

Moleskin Project IV opens at Spoke Art this coming Saturday, April 4th. For those unaware, Moleskin is a kind of sketchbook and the whole show will consist of artists work on a one page spread. I'll have one piece in the show, framed up nicely by the gallery.

"Beauty in the Breakdown" opening night + paintings!

Last weekend my joint show alongside artist, Camilla d'Errico opened at the Thinkspace Gallery in LA. Here are a few opening night pics, along with some images of the paintings from the show. Due to the fact that this blog often distorts the colour of my images though, I definitely suggest viewing the works online at through the Thinkspace website as well. Show is open till March 21st!

'Beauty in the Breakdown' opening @ Thinkspace this Saturday!

My big, two person show "Beauty in the Breakdown", alongside Camilla d'Errico, opens at the Thinkspace Gallery this coming Saturday, Feb.28th! Been putting in over 6 months of work into the 17 new pieces I will have for show and sale there. 

Anyone interested in the paintings/drawings is best to contact the gallery about their early preview, which goes out this week. Also, Camilla and I will be attending the opening ourselves, so come out to the gallery if you live in LA! We'll be there between 6-9pm :D

Annual Prisma Collective Show

Hey Guys,

I'm a bit tardy in keeping up with my blog lately! Have been in the middle of a move the last little while. Now that I'm back, better late than never - the Annual Prisma Artist Collective show is opening at Spoke Art TOMORROW! I'll have one painting in the show, alongside our amazing group of 28 other artists.

Info on the book: The Prisma book is a 260 paged collection of artwork from 28 international contemporary creatives. Step by step documentation of each artists work, in depth interviews about frequently asked questions and more! The softcover measures 8.5x11", and comes as a limited edition of 50 copies to be sold through Spoke Art at the shows opening. Will be made available to costumers outside San Fran on Feb 9th via Spoke Art's online store!

Shows opening January 10th!

A couple group shows I'm participating in are opening next week on January 10th! In San Fransisco, the incredible Supersonic Electronic 4th Annual exhibition is opening at Spoke Art, Curated by Zach Tutor. I'm going to have a new, 16x20" painting available for show there. And in Los Angeles, The Thinkspace Gallery is hosting their 10th Anniversary group show, 'La Familia'! I've been showing with the gallery for 8 of those 10yrs, so it really is quite family like. I'm going to have a small 10x10" painting for sale there:
